Follow these steps and you will be able to do it:
- Go to Instagram using your web browser and login to your account;
- Click on profile picture icon at the bottom right corner;
- Click on gear icon at the upper left corner, then select “Edit profile”;
- Scroll down and select “Temporarily disable my account”;
- You will be asked “Why are you disabling your account?”, select any option from the drop-down menu. You will be asked to re-enter your password;
- Click on “Temporarily disable account”. Done!
