As you probably know your Instagram stories disappear after 24 hours. However, after 24 hours they are just moved to your secret folder and you can still view them afterwards.

Follow these steps and you will figure out how you can do it:
- Go to your Instagram profile page.
- Click on the three lines icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.
- Find the Archive option.
- Tap to open it.
- Once the archive opens, you will be able to see all your previously uploaded Stories.
- Also keep in mind that archive has the posts section.
- If you press on the three dots icon in the top-right corner and hit the Settings option, you will have an opportunity to decide whether you want to automatically save your Stories into archive or not. So, simply toggle the slider in order to turn off or turn on automatic saving.
- Now go back and click on the Create Highlight option.
- Here select the Story posts that you would like to insert into highlight.
- Tap Next.
- Keep in mind that you can change your highlight cover by hitting the Edit Cover icon.
- Make as your highlight cover one of your Story posts or upload a visual from your camera roll.
- Press Done.
- Now it is time to name your highlight.
- When your highlight is ready, one more time tap the Done icon in the top-right corner.
