Just follow these steps and you will be able to do it:

1. Open up Instagram app.
2. Click on “Get help logging in” next to “Forgot your login details”.
3. Type in your username, e-mail address or phone number which is attached to your Instagram profile and click on “Next”.
4. Now choose whether you would like to receive your reset link through e-mail or text message. I will just click on “Send an Email”.
5. As you can see password reset e-mail has been sent to my e-mail address.
6. Now just open the e-mail, click on the reset link and type in your new password and re-enter it one more time again.
