Follow these steps and you will learn how to mute your live video:
- Log in to your Instagram account and go to the home tab.
- Press on the plus icon at the top of the screen.
- Go right on the bottom menu and select the Live option.
- After that hit the button in order to start a live stream.
- Once your live video window opens, you will need to find the microphone icon on the right-hand side of the screen and click on it.
That’s it! The sound has been turned off.
