How to disable recommended videos on YouTube App?

Just follow these steps and you will get rid of recommended videos on YouTube:

  1. Open up YouTube App and login to your profile if you haven’t already.
  2. Click on your profile picture at the top right corner of your screen.
  3. From the appeared menu, select “Settings”.
  4. Click on “Notifications”.
  5. Switch the toggle off next to “Recommended videos”. By doing this you will not be notified of videos based on your watch history.
  6. Afterwards, go back and click on “History and privacy”.
  7. Click on “Clear watch history” and select “Clear watch history” one more time to confirm.
  8. Now click on “Clear search history” and select “Clear search history” to confirm that you want to clear search history.

Done, you have successfully disabled recommended videos on YouTube App.
