- The additional menu on the right will appear, select “Clear all watch history”;
- Popup window will appear, confirm it by clicking “Clear all watch history” again.
In case you would like to delete only certain videos but not the whole watch history, you can do that by clicking “x” next to the video title.
Also, if you would like to stop YouTube from saving your watch history, you can simply select “Pause watch history”. However, you should be warned that the suggestions you get later on will mostly be unrelated to your watch history.

To delete your YouTube watch history using YouTube app on your smartphone, follow the steps below:
- Open up YouTube app on your smartphone and make sure that you are logged in to your YouTube (Google) account;
- Tap on the “Library” icon at the bottom right side of your screen;
- Click on “History”;
- Tap on the menu icon on the top right side of your screen, select “History controls” from the drop-down menu;
- Select “Clear watch history”;
- Popup window will appear, confirm it by clicking “Clear watch history” again.
As mentioned earlier, if you would like to stop YouTube from saving your watch history, then you can simply turn off the toggle next to “Pause watch history”. YouTube won’t be saving your watch history from now on.
