- Select “Settings”;
- At the menu on the left, select “Your Facebook Information”;
- Find the tab named “Deactivation and deletion” and select “View”;
- Choose whether you would like to “Deactivate account” or “Permanently delete account” and click on the “Continue” button;
- You will be prompted to re-enter your Facebook password and after that your account will be submitted for deactivation or deletion. That’s it!
If you deactivate your Facebook profile, you will be able to reactivate it anytime in the future. However, if you submit request for account deletion, then you will have only 30 days to cancel it.
